If you're referring to U.S. HIPPA rules, I can't help but wonder if there is legal precedent. And even if so, one must trust that the organization is operating ethically and won't be hacked.

I don't think you get much mileage out of shaming a stray Dem. Every single one of the 214 has blood on their hands

This party somehow believes that moving to the right will make it more centric, and have more appeal. But to me merely saying "well we're not those bad Rs" is insufficient and won't work. If you're a D, stop promoting corporate Dems who will be beholden to campaign $$$ donors instead of their electors.
People first.

fortunately ICE is not very good at capacity planning. They will end up buying these properties, then realizing that the infrastructure (roads, electrical supply, water supply, personnel) are not available to support the intended use. Finally they will sell these properties at a loss. Our tax dollars "at work".
If you're in a community and discover a sale, lobby the town to put a toll on the road to the warehouse, apply additional water, sewer, or real estate taxes to help "defray" the extra cost before they figure out it's not feasible. At a minimum your town should get back more that what ICE puts into the effort.

I'm not in favor of this on privacy and freedom concerns, but if the U.S. is to do it, it already has a system by which a large majority (not all) can be verified. it's called Social Security, and most children born in the U.S. are enrolled immediately IIRC

what's more is that any failure to comply with a subpoena from congress merely leads to a referral to the Injustice department, which will do nothing.

To me "fiscally conservative" means nothing more than that the books should be balanced, i.e. income should match expenses.
We can (and should) argue about what the expenses should be, and then determine how to get the necessary income to cover.
Recently I read, here in the fediverse, that government should not be run like businesses because it should be focused on longer term benefits for _all_ the governed. Which made sense to me.
While some rich folks might feel they are "subsidizing" the poor when they pay more taxes I couldn't disagree more. Especially those who need never work again.

next thing both sides will sign an agreement that neither will respect and the strait will still be blocked to those who don't pay, right?

I will give you a calculator for free, but it's only right 90% of the time. So, just to be helpful, I'll give you another one so you can crosscheck the calculation. So 10% / 2 = only 5% wrong, ok? Just in case, I'll give you a third one, and maybe a fourth. Oh but maybe the math on this crosschecking isn't exactly right... but anyways.... as long as those calculators are free I guess some folks will use them. And once they depend on them then they will stop being free.
Just do the calculation by hand! It will be faster than all that crosschecking and also be 100% right...

in this article I find only points I have heard before. but the real reason they are working longer hours is because their managers make them.
The benefits of the 40 hour work week which was fought so hardly to achieve about a hundred years ago have been forgotten.

Maybe not so apparently?
There a whole intelligence community available to the President whose competence is to advise on the likely outcomes of those options. Any one of whom should have told him it was an incredibly bad idea. Were they asked? probably not.
Good questions about both Caine's competence and desire to remain an advisee abound.

It's in everybody's interest that the U.S. has a functioning border. The house, senate, and executive are all aligned. Yet, legislation has not been advanced to fix it.
Mischaracterizing existing law as "elite open border experiments" does not progress your argument. Neither does "callers aren't villains", without further support or explanation. Human behaviour typically works on incentives, right?
EDIT: @allanwol@mastodon.social just signed up yesterday and is likely some AI troll after all... reporting.

The parallels between the Pearl Harbor attack and the U.S. attack on Iran are unmistakable. At least the Japanese provided the 'courtesy' of a war declaration albeit after the bombing started.
