The guy that came out to get the mule brought his dog with him and that dog was the sweetest dog. He gave me a lot of kisses and tail wagging. Then he followed me everywhere I went. When I went to the barn, he saw a baby bird sitting there and he wanted to pounce. I put my hand on his head and told him no he had to leave the baby alone. He stepped back and waited for me to tell him he was a good boy, of course I did. Then he went into the tack room with me and sniffed and looked, looked at me like: what is this? New experiences for him. Not only was I happy to have someone work on the mule, help my husband load it on his tailer, but I received a lot of puppy love.

Egad another day of that thing sitting in the Oval Office.

The mechanic that was out here yesterday with his dog was trying to get him back in truck. The poor guy is more overweight than Moose was. My husband asked if the dog had trouble getting in and out and the guy said yes, and he's been looking around for steps or ramps. My husband went into the garage and brought out the doggy steps we had bought for Moose. He set them up and after showing the dog what to do he walked right up with no problems. He gave them to the mechanic and told him it would save on his doggie's hips. The guy was very grateful for the gift. I was glad he thought to give them to him and that his sweet boy can have an easier time getting in and out of the truck.

There is a lot of chatter in the nest. Well, it's more like demanding mama and papa come feed them, spoiled little birdies for sure. I'm waiting for them to look out the nest so I can get a picture of them.

Living the life in the fast lane caught up to me. Now I'm down to a slow crawl on the highway to hell.

I am not the best at philosophy, but my attempts come from the heart and that's what counts.
