Bishop Mariann Budde impressed the nation with her courage when #Trump was inaugurated. Her simple, quintessentially Christian plea to him to show mercy to immigrants and LGBT people was met with vicious verbal attacks as well as death threats. But thousands of people also wrote to her to thank her for her courage. She made a video about it, saying that when we do the brave thing it's important to remember we are not alone.
