  To say that I'm disgusted at watching our own Govt. employees fire rubber bullets, pepper balls/tear gas and point-blank-range pepper spray at law abiding, non-threatening, non-violent protesters who are standing UP for America... That doesn't cover it.   There are times when people post money requests on Mastodon. They give pretty good sob stories, but then don't include links to vetted crowd funding sources. Recently, there was one that *did* include that link, but I think it serves as a new possible scam to avoid.   @RnDanger@infosec.exchange Privacy. I'm trying to seek refuge from the tech giants being used to create this Orwellian society. I want it on my PC, my phone, all the whatevers... I'm sick of the status quo. Anyway, I want complete privacy, including from bad actors who're tapping into the Linux market.   Welp, I gave up, factory reset the old Android, and it went just fine. It didn't need my old Google password or anything. Just what's current. * Refused all the "let us customize" garbage * Set up a new password I actually know * Deleted the Ad ID * Am doing an update for laughs * Will set up the Dev options next * Will work on upgrading to some other OS, because this Google Big Brother nonsense is BS.   ICE is renting vehicles from Enterprise. Everyone: rent all the vehicles in your city if/when ICE is going to be there! Keep them rented until ICE moves on!   We need an end-to-end encrypted communications ecosystem that allows landline users to punch in a code on their phone pads to accept encrypted calls, provides real phone numbers and email addresses, as well as texting...
