@TarkabarkaHolgy@ohai.social This reminds me of the time (fortunately a looooong time ago) I got to see the Winx Club movie with my daughter. It was not a great experience, at least not for me. But... if you wait long enough, you can take your child to a screening of 2001, a space odyssee or see David Bowie have fun with goblins in Labyrinth.

@TarkabarkaHolgy@ohai.social We got lucky that when we showed our kid Toy Story, that stuck pretty well so our first cinema experience was Toy Story 5 which was pretty good (she's obsessed with Jessie and that was the central character in 5 which helped a lot)

@TarkabarkaHolgy@ohai.social my now teenage boys have outgrown Paw Patrol so I gratefully will skip this cinematic masterpiece and instead enjoy your posts. My favorite part of the show was when “the Tony Stark kid” 🤣 would pick 2 dogs for the mission. I used to joke he would then say “the rest of you dogs get back in your f-ing crates and be quiet for the rest of the show” Thank you for the laughs; great thread.
