@jblue@mastodon.world I feel you urge. We don't even eat peppers but at one point more than half the poly tunnel was given over to them. They are such beautiful plants

@Florapis@toot.wales for me, it’s panic buying. I eat a lot of spicy popcorn and I quickly ran out of the best peppers for them last winter. Then I planted I bunch of new varieties (a lot of one specific) and some turned out to be very heat sensitive so I hardly got any peppers off them. I like very fruity, sweet hot peppers for spicy popcorn. Sugar Rush are one of the best for this but they take ages to ripen so been testing out new baccatums.
