Thanks @klu9@ohai.social for hosting! It does seem as though there should be more tales with this heroine and sidekick. However, I don’t see more recent films from this director. Some of the same cast are in earlier ones though *The Imperial Cat* (2019) and *The Imposter Bodyguard* (2017). #kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama

I woulda just chopped off Rouge Vixen's head first, or maybe just let the scroll hit the dirt before trying to grab it while she was still alive. Vengeance and Mystical Martial Arts techniques can't account for lack of brains. 😖 #KungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn

@JanineFromPgh@mastodon.social yup #kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama

@kshernandez@me.dm I have found that I have to pause when the characters are first named and replay exposition dump scenes. Also, over time I have picked up titles etc that get dropped in the subtitles. Definitely, there’s a skill set one picks up in regularly watching subtitles. #kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama

You heard that, our alibi is that we were having sex, all night long, AGAIN, nerds! #KungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn

Pretty sure Any Lau will show up in a sec and try to push the Earth off course. #KungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn

I'm pretty sure the butler did it. Basic rule, always suspect Tim Curry. #KungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn

@LK_877@mastodon.social @klu9@ohai.social That looks like an older inn/tavern set at the massive Hengdian World Studios. They seem to have miraculous reassembly powers though. #kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama

@kcarr2015@mstdn.social Small karmic debts are collected immediately. Her sect brothers were showing their support. #kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama

Little Sister has a mean streak. #KungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn

@klu9@ohai.social Blemishless skin is essential to demonstrate a high cultivation level. @Terencio@mastodon.social#kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama

@klu9@ohai.social it’s a cdrama. Sigh The usual question is whether torture was authorized or vigilante. . #kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama

Oh look, the trio is traveling to Outwo... nevermind. #KungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn

@kcarr2015@mstdn.social I always go for the subtitles. Even when they are bad and AI generated they are better. The hard coded ones are yet better. #kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama

Why is my life not relaxing on a beach and recording outcomes of duels? These are the profound questions of my time. #KungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn

I feel like this first sequence where the family was killed was the same as the #MortalKombat movie a few years ago. #KungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn

We’ve got our heroine’s origin story and a justification for revenge. Know she’s going to be awesome. Love the wirefu on the beach. #kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama #FemaleCentricWuxia

Tried the English Dub version for a minute, and it was BAD. #KungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn

And we’re right into an ominous bamboo forest scene in the first ten minutes. Bad things always happen in bamboo forests. #kungFuSat #TheMysteriousInn #cDrama
