A great effort to highlight on #IndigenousPeoplesDay: Sean Sherman grew up on the Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota Sioux reservation. Low quality, processed government food (such as the regime rails against!) is responsible for a lot of metabolic disease in Native communities. Forced assimilation stripped many Natives of their traditional knowledge of living sustainably off the land, so Sherman became a chef and painstakingly reconstructed these practices. https://seansherman.com/
