We originally wanted Titanium with sapphire or ruby (one person gets a sapphire and one a ruby) and we’d just use those as wedding rings too. Sadly the manufacturer doesn’t seem to sell alternate gems anymore cuz we both really liked that idea.
We also decided that the point where we could comfortably afford those rings would also be when we marry, as a celebration of gaining said financial stability.

The Fast and The Furious (first movie) has one of the best depictions of ADHD I have ever seen.
The guy tried school, but couldn’t get anything done cuz he couldn’t concentrate, got blamed by teachers, dropped out and is only really good at his special interest and adjacent things (obviously that’s car tuning and car body design).
At first I didn’t think of it too well, but In hindsight it actually mirrors my experiences pretty well.

I sometimes feel cursed for being someone whose favorite chocolate is white chocolate. Yes I know, White chocolate is basically just sugar, milk and cocoa butter, I’ll still call it chocolate!!
I genuinely think there is no such thing as talent. Talent implies some inborn skill, but all skills are learned. Yes, there are predispositions. Some people may have a slightly easier time doing things than others. Talent however, does not exist.
The only thing that does exist is hours and hours of practice. I’m not a talented programmer, I have 10+ years of experience fucking around. That artist isn’t talented, they have countless hours of experience. The vast majority of people can learn ro do basically anything. It’s not a question of some inborn thing, but one of HOURS of practice. Practice that you still need if you have an affinity for something.

I’m just trying to abuse my Weekend vrij and one trip to Heerlen/Maastricht is basically the entire price of the subscription. after that, €6 to Aachen.
Aachen is also where I’m from, so I’m also using the opportunity to go on a bit of a nostalgia trip~
Shifting in The fast and the Furious is funny.
Im the first movies it be like: 1, 2, 4… (down, down again) or they discover the legendary 8th gear
In some later movies the cars are automatic, but they still shift. Then the shifting is even more nonsensical, going from Drive mode to one of the manual gears (usually 1 or 2) or when down shifting they go to Reverse or Parking xD

I seem to be really sensitive to bitter compounds in chocolate and coffee. I have some specialty coffee i keep for guests, because I refuse to serve bad stuff to guests. Everyone I ask tells me it’s not bitter at all, I can’t drink it because it’s so bitter.

It’s that state between clothed and naked. e.g. a girl that only wears underwear and an oversized hoodie. That’s kledingluw.
