i Know my dream tapes are sitting forgotten in someone's cabinet somewhere. theyre cold and afraid and it's breaking my heart.

i took adhd meds again for the first time in Weeks and was finally able to Lock In... on the fun "procrastination" thing i've been wanting to do for Months still a win i guess

when i first got a journal, specifically because i Wanted to journal, i got the refillable binder types because i liked that it was modular. i had planned to use it for TTRPGs. for character journals and sheets rather than my own. being able to swap out pages gave me more freedom to get ~aesthetic~ with it. but i ended up writing a personal journal regularly, and falling out of playing TTRPGs. i had been using a small notebook my friend gave me for my personal journal. but now that notebook is full, and all i have left are my refillable binder sheets. so now i have a dilemma. i liked journalling in a normal notebook, because it was thinner and easier to carry around. the inability to remove pages also meant i could be less precious about ~aesthetics~. i know i can force myself to be less precious when using the refillable binder, but i think if i do use it, im gonna want to take out pages and bind them into separate notebooks one day. binding my own notebooks together seems like a fun project, but at the same time, i do still balk at the thought of Added Work lmao.

my friend who's not normal about paris paloma assigned everyone in the friend group songs from the fatal flaw and mine was silhouette on the hill 🥺 honestly? lowkey flattering https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olmV7Lj0UVA

if anyone needs a fun lil show to watch, i recommend Ride Or Die. the main characters are these middle aged women whose relationship is easily neither platonic nor romantic but a secret third thing. one of them is an assassin. it's cute.

not me at all but lowkey im halfway there but also where do i find her

my aunt's dog is so funny looking. she's like a rag doll, which is supposedly just cloth, but she still somehow looks like god ran out of materials while making her. she's like a chicken put through a washing machine. she's so tiny. she's on her period so we put her in a pet diaper, but it's too big for her, so it has to be tied around her middle. cartoon character ass silhouette.

@kalviter@hol.ogra.ph ngl the first half of the blog was stuff i dont really get (congrats on??fixing things??tho!), but i wish i also couldnt comprehend the existence of nyx kai :((

i do believe that some tasks are desktop tasks, and the push to make everything a mobile task might have made us Worse, so in a way, i am practicing my ability to remain steadfast to my principles. this too is holy i g.

my aunts used to spend All Their Time watching these weird chinese drama shows on facebook. weird because they're episodic shows yet seem filmed for the short, vertical video format, and dubbed to tagalog by robotic text-to-voice. real slop-adjacent stuff. but now theyve started watching actual ai slop shows. like. like the video is actually ai generated people doing four variations of the same facial expression, and apparently panning shots of that is a "scene". help. help. help.

real life is just advertisment for Model Collapse RE: https://hol.ogra.ph/notes/aogg5dzlf10i05b3

@kalviter@hol.ogra.ph > "I was greeted by eBay listings full of the marks of the beast - “UNTESTED/SPARES OR REPAIRS ONLY”, reused images from other listings and the internet, and prices for the real deal far above my budget." i felt that in my BONES. tbh i've been meaning to write about recording cassettes but my thing was gonna be "here's how to do this as quickly as possible". im so glad you did this to yourself. the worlds' evil geniuses wish they could be as rad as you.

hey do yall know about shopee requesting very specific product reviews in exchange for shopee coins? like, if you buy coffee creamer, it asks you for a video of you slowly pouring it into coffee, then stirring gently until mixed, etc etc. this is on top of the requirement to write a minimum 50 characters review, no repeated phrases allowed. it's creepy. are they, idk, tryna get training data—

this probably isn't difficult to find by myself, but do any of you already know a good answer? i'm trying to figure out the easiest free way to compress and/or resize a bunch of images, for the purpose of saving storage space and imposing maximum possible dimensions edit: graphicsmagick it is

@kalviter@hol.ogra.ph @gnarlsnishi@mstdn.ca thank you both! will def look into graphicsmagick also oh my god the slopware list. the light left my eyes and everything
