@CindyWeinstein@zirk.us On the subject of bowling alleys, I've been seeing articles/videos about how private equity has been eating up them up. They mentioned that a family could have had a night out for $30-$40 and it is now jacked up to a couple hundred. It's totally only for the rich now.
Shout out to all the writers who...you know....write.
I still think about how Lawn Darts and Kinder eggs were made illegal after a few deaths yet ICE is still out there.

I did me some writing tonight. Almost 900 words! Not too shabby.
Also left at a good spot to pick it up again.
Yesterday, I was getting some writing in, and did something cool: added character to a character.
Yes. Amazing, right? Never been done before!
lol
Anyway, it was fun to add a little flavor to my bland cookie cutter characters.

@eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place Second Life had its place back in the day. Spent many an hour there. Now I spend a few hours each week in VR Chat. A nice equivalent of user generated things.

Today is a good day to be working from home in the Seattle area.
In the morning, a major accident closed southbound. And now I see an oversized load clipped an overpass on northbound.
But go on. The billionaires don't care about your time or money.
Oh...Richard Dawkins found god?? I guess?
That's how I'm seeing that.
The style of this game is the selling point. And I hope the story is good, too.

Just replace it with a massive heart attack.
Easy peasy.

@katzenmann Ahh yes, because death is the worst thing.
Not living in pain everyday, not being able to do the things you once did, not being dropped into a minority that health care and society says FU to.
Yeah, death is totally worse.

I bought a game. Earthborne Rangers. It wasn't cheap. Been thinking about it for weeks now though. Hopefully is a worthwhile buy.

@ajroach42 I'm not a vendor, barely an attendee. But watched many videos of people selling at cons like the one you are going to (cause I thought it would be fun to live that life). A common thing they tend to voice is the lack of cell reception and being forced to buy wifi at whatever facility. Something to keep in mind for sure.
Good luck at your event!

Are you going to GenCon here in a few weeks? Do you see how red Indiana is? But you don't care because you need your FOMO games?
Yeah...

Having an in person international or national event in America? Are you weighing factors like lodging and transport? Cool stuff to do? Here’s a map to consider if any of your attendees may possibly, even remotely be LGBTQIA. And you care about them.
There's a new he-man trailer out. Has more of the characters. STILL NO ORKO.
ahem..
The first thing you hear is the actor playing He-Man saying Eternia. And he said it like e-tahn-ia, not e-turn-ia.
like....I'm not here to nitpick (because Leto is still in the movie) but damn. Like, come on.
Have you heard of the Bricks and Minifigs Star Wars Lego drama?
