This walk in Pembrokeshire from Porthclais includes an attractive stretch of coastline, interesting rock arches, old limekilns, St Davids St Justinians & remains of St Justinian’s Chapel. Includes the fabulous beach at Whitesands Bay. See
This walk takes you from the pretty village of Rosedale Abbey in the #NorthYorkMoors with its history of Christian heritage, farming & iron ore industry, to equally picturesque Lastingham with its ancient church. Should provide good heather colour now. See
In more pub news, the iconic Falcon Inn in the pretty #YorkshireDales village of Arncliffe, Littondale and famous for its role as the ‘Woolpack’ in the TV series Emmerdale seeks a new tenant. See

This short walk on #Yorkshire’s coast, which may benefit from onshore breezes, takes you from the pretty village of Runswick Bay which is a joy to wander around to Kettleness Hamlet. This #LakeDistrict walk on Gowbarrow Fell provides fabulous views along Ullswater, without a massive amount of climbing. Excellent views of Blencathra (Saddleback) & the famous Sharp Edge. Ends with impressive waterfall Aira Force plus minor falls. See
This #YorkshireDales walk from Reeth in Swaledale & along Fremington Edge gives good views & also ventures into less known Arkengarthdale. The bridge in Langthwaite featured in the opening credits of All Creatures Great and Small, the 1970s TV series. See
Mountain Rescue Team urge fell walkers and climbers to tell somebody about their plans before heading into the mountains after difficulty locating casualty.
