the draft llm guidelines is basically the most sensible ai policy. they make the use of ai tooling not the point of the policy (because otherwise you get stuck in the entire authorship and provenance quagmire, which is literally just the heap paradox where you're trying to determine the exact level of metaphysical influence of seeing LLM output and using it where your code becomes ai generated), and instead talk about how the contributor should work with the codebase and other contributors. you know. the actual hard part of cooperation. not typing the code out

like, if your goal IS to get a project stuck reviewing the metaphysical properties of computer instructions, advocating for a ban on generative ai is EXACTLY how you achieve it lol

something that's always bothered me about werewolf media is how they're always portrayed as being caught off-guard by full moons. motherfucker you've been a lycanthrope for the past 20 years, SURELY you could've learned to track your 29-day cycle by now

/**

This class implements an output stream for writing Snappy compressed data.
The output format is the stream header "snappy\0" followed by one or more
compressed blocks of data, each of which is preceded by a seven byte header.
The first byte of the header is a flag indicating if the block is compressed
or not. A value of 0x00 means uncompressed, and 0x01 means compressed.
