Late getting back from #Chicago from seeing #Hum, #Nothing, and #Chapterhouse. Chapterhouse were great giving a bit of a rougher version of themselves, Nothing was good wasn’t overly familiar with the album the played in full. Hum crushed everyone, magnificently heavy and dreamy. Surprised by how young the crowd was for Hum. Great time and the Aragon Ballroom was far better than I remember. #LiveMusix

Who has the time to assess 14 albums a week beyond your regular listening? And this is just Pitchfork I get similar stories / emails from at least 4 other sites that really don’t crossover. So I’m supposed to critically assess 40+ releases every week? Sure you can sample quick through them but as I’ve said that seems like work. #MusicLisening https://pitchfork.com/news/new-albums-you-should-listen-to-now-american-football-kacey-musgraves-isaiah-rashad/

Replying to

@MetalheadDana@metalhead.club that and the price of the tickets. It’s nuts, but FIFA figured everyone would pay surge prices. Considering gas in the US is $5-6 a gallon USD and it’s generally below $3 people here are just going to stop going to big ticket events. Now add airfair and hotel costs to the political atmosphere and people are going to stay away regardless where they’re coming from.
