I've had success using Calls with a number of different service providers, linphone.org being one of them and voip.ms being another.

Warum geht die #pruef #Demo in #Stuttgart eigentlich um 12:00 los, alle anderen aber um 14:00? Hat das damit zu tun, dass Schwaben vermeintlich so fleissig sind?

Also: in the "compositor" panel of phosh-mobile-settings you can scale individual apps. IIRC this will scale the application window so that they fit the screen (based on the size the application requests - which may be off)

Have you tried SIP in GNOME Calls?
It's been quite some time since I actively worked on that, but would appreciate knowing if it worked (and if not, where things broke down)

It is a graphical interface (and more) primarily targetting (close-to) mainline Linux phones.
