Seriously. I just figured out how to force Ubuntu 26.04 to disable every single damn animation in the system, and that's by INSTALLING LINUX MINT.
NOTE: Enabling "reduce animation" is not what I mean, and whoever made that decision in Gnome/Ubuntu.Name_The_Distro is a tool, and not bright. Macos can bite me too.

So, essentially, we're looking at a white supremacist movement whose two most prominent ideologues are Andrew Jackson and, Jeffrey Epstein.

With the growing population of the world, and less land available for individual farming, it's going to be a necessity in the near future of humanity. The world needs to change, and throw off the shackles of the Capitalist ideal, and live cooperatively, or I fear that we human beings are going to have a really dark, and scary time.

@econetwork@mas.to to be honest, not much farming is done population wise, comparatively. A vast majority of us live in bigger cities, and most simply do not farm anymore. Except for the families having done it for generations already.
Don't get me wrong, plenty of people still grow their gardens, here and there. We do have a place in Seattle, Washington State, called the Beacon Hill Food Forest, a cooperative garden that anyone in the city can harvest from.

@gnome@floss.social of course, but never, ever in your life must you have appointments that are fortnightly, or as we in the states say, Bi-weekly. The only way to make Gnome Calendar actually functional is to use Google Calendar and then import the bi-weekly appointments.
But this is a stupid hack and workaround.

@Isofruit@mastodon.social fair enough. I just still do not understand the Gnome Devs thinking. Most human beings from time to time have bi-weekly or fortnightly appointments to put on the calendar. But Gnome suggests that I just connect it to a Google account to make it work, but that's a non starter. I would be more angry about this if I were in Europe or somewhere not the USA, where you cannot trust any of our technology. Google is fascist, and Gnome sure doesn't mind messing around with them.

Yet I cannot use Downie without it.
Sometimes use Firefox as well.
The problem I have with Mastodon on Safari is the way sometimes the interface for post/reply, or, better yet, the cursor, is located several pixels away. It's weird.
