🌀Archival Navigation🌀 Every article posted by Harms Committed is integrated into a broader archive, searchable by topic and location.
Here are 3 easy ways to access curated feeds of independent journalism.
🌀Format🌀 Every post follows a standard format that includes a linked article, quotes from it, and hashtags highlighting topics and locations relevant to that article. They additionally offer the article’s title, author, publisher, and date of publication.
Hashtags are the primary key to archival navigation.
🌀Method 1🌀 Say you come across a post of mine about policing and want to read more articles on the topic; you're just two clicks away.
Two-Click Access:
- Click on #Policing.
- Click ‘Browse posts from @admin@archive.harmscommitted.com in #Policing.'
You now have access to a feed of every article about policing that Harms Committed has shared. This method applies to every topic or location hashtag included in each archival entry.
🌀Method 2🌀 You can also search for hashtags in the search bar. For reference, a complete hashtag directory is in the pinned posts.
If your instance has Elasticsearch enabled, you can also use the search bar to find authors, publications, or keywords. You will need to add “from:@admin@archive.harmscommitted.com” to your search.
🌀Method 3🌀 Directly below my profile’s bio, you can find a list of featured hashtags. This list includes ten of the archive’s most commonly used hashtags. Clicking on one of them gives you immediate access to a feed of every article relevant to that topic or location.
