I didn't have much time yesterday. So in the evening, I just had enough time to draw a little mandala. It never ceases to amaze me how relaxing it is to draw lines and simple patterns. It's "mystical".

Okay, these are probably my worst pieces of work so far. 🫣 That’s why I’m going to post them both at once—and then they’ll be gone. 😬
I didn’t think it would be so hard to draw with white on black. I thought it might be kind of interesting. Unfortunately, you can see every single stroke—even the ones that are way off. (Especially these ones!)

Unfortunately, I had to take the Flixbus home again yesterday evening. 😢 And there were actually a lot more travelers at the Milan Lampugnano bus station, but I still find it hard to draw people.
I actually filled my 14x14 cm #Hahnemühle ZigZag book with urban sketches during our trip. It was so much fun, and the ZigZag book was perfect - the format and the paper. 👍
Next year, I'll continue #hiking the GTA.

We saw many different butterflies during our hikes in #Piedmont
I tried to photograph them and then draw them later.
(I like my #hikingboots very much. Only when they got old do they loose the sole. 😵💫 That's usually at the most inappropriate moments, really.)

That's now the last butterfly from my #hike in #Piedmont
I was amazed at how many different kinds of butterflies I saw and was able to photograph. This beauty, however, sat down on my cell phone after the first photo, which made it difficult to take a few other pictures.
Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to the shape of the wings. But, whatever. I still think the butterfly is beautiful.

I think #Banksy is absolutely cool. That's why I went to the Banksy exhibition in #Dresden
I really enjoyed copying some of his artworks there with ink and watercolor. And since a Banksy poster reading "Copyright is for losers!" was hanging there I have no qualms about showing my drawings here. 😉
Furthermore, my drawings are clearly recognizable as copies.
I used my Sennelier 9x14 cm sketchbook, really small for me.

Yesterday, I tried drwaing while standing for the first time. The lines became very shaky and I almost got a cramp in my hand from holding the #sketchbook (A5)
Probably smaller sketchbooks are easier to hold?

Day 6 while #hiking the Grande Traversata delle Alpi in #Piedmont /Italy.
I painted this at the Alpe Laghetto a really secluded location. 2039 m.a.s.l.
(The most beautiful mountain huts are the secludes ones without an access road and Wifi.)
