Retired teacher. Canadian. Knitter, trying crochet and sewing. Not a big fan of social media but I do put up with it. I am on Instagram as @misliz1 and @knitwit1955 although I do more scrolling than posting. Why two accounts, you say? One for knitting and one to be me. #knitting

@Rastal@mastodon.social @johnnyryan@eupolicy.social I don’t know the situation in Denmark stores but here in Canada in my own supermarket I have been able to purchase Canadian made products and even European ones. If I have to purchase something American, it’s because there really is no other choice. Example—Dawn Powerwash—it really does a good job cleaning grease and there is no substitute yet. It takes a bit of work but I’m sure you can do it! 💪

@SteveClough@metalhead.club I get a lot of those emails asking how something was I bought etc. I don’t bother with them. It’s called the trash.

@BubblegumYeti@mastodon.social @randahl@mastodon.social Interesting g. I was just a funeral that was being presided over by a Lutheran minister. Came to Canada during the Regan era. One of his reasons for leaving, he said, was that he saw signs of what is happening now in the US then.

@augieray@mastodon.social Covid is becoming endemic? I went for my last shot a month ago and was told that they will soon be going to giving it once a year along with the flu shot.
