Replying to

@benlockwood@ecoevo.social It is not only cynical. Inside its own logic, its neccessary to ensure no other system could ever posibly be proposed as alternative, no matter how bad things go. Beyond that, the purpose of it, its just shield the powerful to remain as it is.

Replying to

@rygorous Funfact if you add an "e" at the beginning of "nano", you have "enano*", which is the spanish word for "dwarf" *probably but not enterily sure to have the same root. Edit: I just look the word in the dictionary and it is indeed the same root, so apparently there is no joke xD. (From the latin "nanus", and "nanus" from the greek "nanos")

Replying to

@jeffowski Well, its not just "bad PE teachers" at least here (Spain), PE has always been a useless subject by design. The academic curriculum for it seems to range from "whatever comes to mind that day" to "lets pit kids who have different develoment, builds and physical characteristics to tests with fixed, absurd objetives and idiotic criteria in order for them to approve a subject not even our politicians has ever took seriously in education laws"

Replying to

@ami_angelwings@urusai.social There was a time where spanish healthcare was universal, and that meant that you could come here with a serious ill, be treated and not having to pay a dime. I despise the people that destroyed that and the people that says things like "I'm not paying for everybody's health". I hope you get well. Boost and Cheers.

Replying to

Replying to

@aram@aoir.social I'm still wondering where all those "left wing violent anarchist and anti-fascist" terrorist groups are right now to be a major concern, because I see nothing, just right wingers and fascist doing its usual cry.

@TimWardCam@c.im @anon_opin@mastodon.social Some time ago, AWS services went down globally for a day or so. Ppl who bought a "smart bed" that warm itself and go up and down attached to a wall found that they couldn't deploy the fricking bed because the stupid thing could not find the service active thus couldn't assess that the montly suscription fee was paid.
