Well, containerization can mess with GPU acceleration if you want to use Immich’s auto-description-whatever-function. Also mind that docker runs as root, so don’t just spin up random containers from unknown sources.

If they were previously shared with Windows, that means they are SMB shares, which on most file managers can be accessed via the network section or by writing smb://@ in the location bar. This doesn’t work perfectly all the time, for example if you want to drag and drop a file from the share onto a browser upload page, it usually doesn’t work. 2 - Have you successfully mounted them with mount already?
