Chris Pirillo

Hank Green used ChatGPT to find sources, said so, and admitted he'd leaned on it too hard. That's a retraction. And the internet is furious at him for issuing one. Sit with that. We're roasting the guy who corrected himself.

Hank Green has his reasons, but I can't imagine one of those reasons not to be forthcoming about his use of AI would be to avoid *precisely* what *actually* happened when he was! He's not a bozo with zero credentials. The addiction is real, yes - but these tools are insanely powerful in the right hands. I'd think, of all hands to be in, Hank Green's would be one of the most qualified. He's getting canceled for *no* reason other than not passing a nebulous purity test.

Hank Green is intelligent, talented, and knowledgeable. The way he chooses to use (or not use) AI is fine. Your attacking him for his use of AI is not.

I had to continue to make quite a few manual tweaks, but... OpenAI ChatGPT Images 2.0 got me 99% of the way there for this info card.

I wanted to build a "pitch page" to better describe my experience as a community manager / advocate / specialist when asked. Not that a ton of people ask these days!

I used ChatGPT as well as Claude Design to work up some options (including actual code / interactivity to get a feel for what it might work like). Which one would you have picked for me?

What Happens Now That Everyone Can Create Their Own Software Experiences

Solve problems nobody's fixing.

See you in #Seattle tomorrow for another https://ctrlaltcreate.live/ #ai #vibecoding community event (for both technical *and* non-technical people) - presented and catered by Every!

i may be a so-called vibe coder, but i can tell you with an incredible degree of assurance that most shipping software written by humans is utter garbage for ux

Not that I should be too concerned for Disney or Lucasfilm, but marketing for the Mandalorian and Grogu movie feels even more muted than it was for Solo. I'm hardly finding anything out here right now. I see far more Bluey and superhero stuff.

https://arcade.pirillo.com/gridrunner.html
Infinite procedural terrain through a CRT monitor. Synthwave wireframe landscape generator with real-time controls — runs in your browser.

Okay. I think https://pirillo.com/ works now. Will it convert? Nobody knows.

My 318th FREE web app! Hueday — Birthday color generator that gives every date — year included — its own deterministic hue, codes, palette, and share card. Happy Hueday! https://arcade.pirillo.com/hueday.html

My 319th FREE web app! Vibe Brief — A free worksheet that turns a vague app idea into a paste-ready prompt for AI tools. Forces problem-first thinking and ruthless MVP scope so you ship instead of spin. https://arcade.pirillo.com/vibe-brief.html
