Bottled the beer today. Thankfully no weird smells that would indicate infection. It's measuring at a smidge above 5% ABV, which is right where I want it. Now here's to hoping it doesn't over or under-carbonate. RT: https://poa.st/objects/78fba050-68d7-4748-a941-f3bc4376f27d

Menthol project update: I transplanted the three mint plants and a replacement for the one that died into a larger planter. This should give them enough room to spread out, and if I need to divide them later, I can. It also will require me to water them much less frequently. This should be the last time they need to be transplanted for a while, if not the duration of the project. RT: https://poa.st/objects/1fb06198-568e-47a0-9d2a-486810f1a084

Tobacco, From Seed to Smoke: Day 0 I'm using biodegradable seed starting cells for this one. They will hopefully enable me to transplant the seedlings with minimal disturbance to the roots. The real reason I'm using them is because I found them on the side of the road, so they were free. The seed starting mix for thirty of the cells is made of Jiffy seed starting pellets left over from a previous project. The remaining ten cells are filled with a seed starting mix that I also...

Menthol project update: The strongest handful of peppermint plants are almost big enough to transplant. RT: https://poa.st/objects/78f540bf-ef01-40ba-8387-103e08422602

Menthol project update: Progress is slow-going, but several of the peppermint plants have put on their first sets of leaves. RT: https://nicecrew.digital/objects/a242aac4-18fe-440f-8f8d-e5b5f5266448

Weekend was busier than anticipated and I ended up running out of time. Going to have to push it back to next weekend, methinks. RT: https://poa.st/objects/59c8e1f6-af96-4dd4-b688-f887422494db

I think I might brew some beer this weekend.

Menthol project update: Transplanted the four strongest peppermint plants into small individual planters. Hoping I didn't shock them too badly, since two of the seedlings were in the same cell and had to be separated. We'll see how they fare over the next couple of weeks. Ivy League schools are considered a gateway to status within the United States. It's how prospective elites make connections, get jobs, and are groomed for positions of power and influence. If they're having drug-fueled orgies while they're still in school, imagine what they're getting up to when they have access to actual wealth and power.

After pollination, the tobacco flowers turn brown and fall off, leaving behind a seed pod. As it matures, the seed pod turns brown and dries out. When you can hear the seeds rattling around inside, the pods are ready to be harvested. If there's interest, I can walk through my process from seed to smoke, starting with the seeds I just harvested.

I made some beer. Or rather, I made what will be beer in a few weeks. RT: https://poa.st/objects/0c85e90b-445c-463c-97f9-149aa0c2419c

So as it turns out, married couples who attend church regularly have sex significantly more often than those who do not. @SuperLutheran@poa.st vindicated.
