Dwcon veterans who are also going this year or who are in the groups etc, does this vagueness and delay with the hotel booking happen often? I feel like if the hotel has been booked out for the duration then I’m not sure why being able to book has been delayed and why there seems to be so much chaos. Or maybe I’m just projecting my anxiety about this? I’m not going to start kicking up a fuss with the committee volunteers if it’s the hotel that’s the cause of the delays. I mean, I’m not going to kick up a fuss either way but it is making me pretty anxious so I guess I just wanted to know if it’s always like this? I have major doubts whether I want to go at all if we can’t get a room at the hotel. As well as mobility considerations, I feel like we’d miss out on a big part of the con if we had to stay elsewhere. I am stress 😔
