@arrrg@kolektiva.social this is true. That whole myth of “making the dessert bloom” is peak colonizer language. They don’t know how to live responsibly in the ecological environment and work with what is native/indigenous so they have to rip out and strip the natural resources that are there and build polluting infrastructure to sustain the vast resources they use up.
