Protest Thread #134: Who needs Spooky Season when you have attacks on healthcare?
Last night I went to a protest held by National Nurses United (I'm on their protest mailing lis), AFL-CIO, and other people who are just fed up with attacks on what healthcare we even have. It started out in a public park next to a residential neighborhood. I parked next to some houses with truly impressive Halloween decorations in their yards...

...snapped a few pictures and walked to the park. They had tables set up with T shirts, boxes of sandwiches, and heart shaped red glow sticks for a protest after dark. A couple hundred people gathered, including a local protest marching band. They're basically a bunch of ex-band kids who met up in protest forums and tried to remember how to play their instruments. I've seen them many times in Trump 2.0 and it's amazing how good they've gotten now that they're back in practice.
