...snapped a few pictures and walked to the park. They had tables set up with T shirts, boxes of sandwiches, and heart shaped red glow sticks for a protest after dark. A couple hundred people gathered, including a local protest marching band. They're basically a bunch of ex-band kids who met up in protest forums and tried to remember how to play their instruments. I've seen them many times in Trump 2.0 and it's amazing how good they've gotten now that they're back in practice.

Everybody just stood around talking for a little while. I sat near a Filipina nurse who said her father is a huge Trumper. She's trying to get him to realize that ICE doesn't care if a nonwhite person supports Trump. I offered her my deepest sympathies. All this shit we're going through, man, at least I don't have any Trumpers in my family. My heart goes out to all who do. First we heard from nursing leadership about #ICE and #Palantir in hospitals and cuts to #Medicaid.
