Tonight I had the opportunity to see "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" in a theater, accompanied by live music improvised by the local university's music professors. It was amazing! This is the way to watch old silent horror movies, especially the movie that is widely considered to be the first true horror movie. I was impressed – despite having no horror tropes to draw upon, the director, actors, and set designers did a great job bringing the spooky! #horror #movies #music #livemusic #halloween
