A terminal UI is just a GUI where the graphics card is your imagination and the rendering engine is 50 years of accumulated technical debt.

@fribbledom@mastodon.social The comedy of my Cyberhole toys using a Terminal, simulating a VT52 more or less, made in HTML & JS, running in a browser, on a "real" GUI, relying on high-speed graphics cards because I'm WAY too lazy to do my own double-buffering, hits me just about every day I play with it.
