back in 2019 i saw this sign and it continues to live rent-free in my head to this day. what makes this the ideal dish? how did they decide that??

@Ninji@wuffs.org I can’t decide if I want it more to be a running joke and they put it under every special, or, that’s it’s someone’s sincerely held belief that the pinnacle of gastronomy is roasted chicken, salad & chips.

@Ninji@wuffs.org I mean, it's the ideal dish if I want to relive what it was like to eat out when I was growing up in Wales in the 80s, which I do have a lot of nostalgia for, but I suppose that's a bit niche...
