Allegedly tRump tried to grab the nuclear codes in a White House meltdown—only for the Joint Chiefs chairman to stand up and say “No.” Apparently, even the military knows this unhinged man is too dangerous for the football. How much longer can America risk it? https://mcsp.short.gy/A86o

  • @tafnn I believe that's why he's building 'the ballroom' with a bunker under it I think the entrance to the old bunker was in the wing that was demolished & he destroyed it because the Joint Chiefs wouldn't let him in & launch a few nukes So he's building a new bunker that only he controls

@tafnn Mastodon best practices include, typing out a full name and using hashtags so that people can filter out posts they don't want to see (so in this case saying Trump, and using #uspol ). It's also best to only post about information that is credible, as in the post you linked it says "The claims have not been confirmed and it is unclear what the nuclear codes would be used for should they be accessed." Finally, there is no need to include a short url as all URL's on Mastodon are only counted as 23 characters (https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/posting/#links). Since you're posting so often (and it doesn't look like replying at all), I suggest you set this account as a bot so that people are aware. https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/profile/#bot

@tafnn Please don't use shortcodes on Mastodon. All URLs take the same amount of space in a post, so all the shortcode does is prevent people from knowing where a story was printed. https://fedi.tips/you-dont-need-link-shorteners-on-mastodon/

@tafnn A very strange article by the Daily Mirror. "It's unclear what the codes would be used for?" FFS. This is Donald Trump we're talking about. The only legal way for a senior officer to block Trump's access to nuclear codes is to claim that Trump was intending to issue an illegal order. A lot more to see here, I think.

@tafnn Trump is in charge of deploying nuclear munitions in the USA's war [but not in a constitutional sense] operation, I guess, unless someone just refuses. I have no opinions. Sourcing is light on this story, we'll see.

@tafnn This would certainly be what they would need to do, but without invoking the 25th amendment, illegal. But also illegal to follow illegal orders. The USA is a failed state. @MelissaBearTrix
