@veronica for photos, do you use immich, nextcloud, or something else? I basically have both syncthing and immich doing the same job at the moment. Syncthing is reliable, but immich is familiar and accessible from anywhere. The main problem I have with immich is that background sync doesn't seem to work. I'm wondering of there's another option beside these two that you've been interested in.
