I post this so that people who don't live in Scotland see what are everyday things for us. Filth, Jocks, mocking our culture, an openly hostile BBC and press, London-led political parties who tell us the union is a partnership of equals and a voluntary one, but, at the same time, there is no exit door. This and more is what it means to live in Scotland under never ending London rule

@IndyRichard@mastodon.scot I'm English by birth with a (noble) Scottish name, and grew up in England, about an hours' drive from the nearest border crossing, which we used regularly. I've never lived in Scotland, but have lived in Germany for nearly 40 years. It took me many years of absence to finally understand the harsh meaning of the words "North British" which I saw regularly when growing up. I understand what you're saying, and respect the way you're saying it.
