Was so excited to play Minecraft Dungeons II
I can't play it, I use Linux on my computer and went to boot the game and it keeps on asking for "game services" what is a Microsoft store thing. Dungeons 1 worked on Linux but I guess the decided it's not good to have your game in other places, because of this I'll be refunding the game and just waiting for the Sift to come to vanilla.
Fuck you Microslop
Thank you @gamingonlinux@mastodon.social for the post explaining this, sadly didn't see it till I already reordered the game a few days ago and went to boot it today.

@sam@solent.social Oof, makes sense for a MS owned IP, but still a shitty move.

I will be holding off refunding for a few days as some people are trying to work on a work around so not sure if i'll be able to play within the week or so but here's hoping that I'll be able to launch the game and actually play what I paid for.

@sam@solent.social @gamingonlinux@mastodon.social I got burned by buying the dlc for the first Minecraft dungeons game on a console using my account and Microsoft wouldn’t let other accounts on the same console use the dlc.
