My big boy Benjen, the one who had his teeth removed a few months ago, has officially lost one pound. This is a good thing! The vet was concerned about his weight and glucose levels, and while testing showed he wasn’t there yet, his ongoing care plan involved losing some of that weight before he developed diabetes. He’s my Number One Boy, but I have seven other cats, and while I’m sad he’s toothless now, it’s helped a lot with counting calories and portion control to have him primarily on wet food. #CatsOfMastodon #BlackCat
