🇪🇺 Digitally sovereign communications need an open standard to enable vendor-neutral federation and prevent lock-in.
We’ve mapped out sovereign communications across Europe that support @matrix open standard federation.
That’s sovereign and secure communications between separate organisations, and cross-border, without any reliance on a specific vendor.
Know of a deployment missing from the map? Contributions welcome.

@element @matrix Personally I'd recommend delta chat or irc. Horses for courses.

@element @matrix Vidíte tu díru, jak Česko, Slovensko a Maďarsko nepotřebují nic bezpečného pro svojí komunikaci? #ČasŠvábů #Matrix #NoSecurity

@element @matrix That's all irrelevant if you bend over to age verification and similar bullshit

@element @matrix Do you know how many of these deployments federate with the wider matrix network? It's great to see "Island" solutions using open source tech, but my personal dream is true interoperability like email.
