@arjan@todon.nl Je bericht kwam langs in mijn timeline, ik werk bij Stichting Centraal Register Techniek in Woerden aan een platform voor persoons- en bedrijfscertificering en heb een vacature voor developer open staan. Je bericht gaf me te weinig aanknopingspunten om te zien of het interessant voor je is maar de vacature staat hier: https://www.centraalregistertechniek.nl/vacatures/vacature-backend-developer We kunnen even bellen om dat verder te onderzoeken als je wilt.

@arjan@todon.nl in the Netherlands? you do understand the sheer amount of workers rights that you have in the Netherlands, that you basically cannot be fired, that they must try to make it work in different roles, that you could call in sick for a year to delay being let go, that they can't even implement a discriminatory rule like that. Needless to say, speak to an employment lawyer because damn you are actually in a very comfortable place and have a lot of flex here to obtain a significant settlement that allows you to find work entirely at your own pace.

@arjan@todon.nl I am so sorry you are going through this. Though you specify no fintech, might I suggest you look at Rabobank regardless? There is a strong green, sustainable, and environmental focus and principle, and a strong workers council, with a good DEI and gender expansive policies (and community). I will keep my eyes open for anything I come across, and ask some friends if they are aware of anything open, or that meets your requirements and skill set.

@jaseg@chaos.social @arjan@todon.nl I think I’d accept (and even want!) more rules than that. I’d expect turning up in a Nazi uniform to result in being told to go home and change, at the least. But having different rules based on (perceived) gender is just nonsense.
