Happy Ada Lovelace Day! Celebrated every second Tuesday in October in recognition of the achievements of women in STEM, the day is named, of course, in honour of our favourite Victorian computing pioneer - Countess Ada Lovelace, the incredible mathematician, writer & self-described “Analyst & Metaphysician” , who envisioned machines that could compose music, draw & calculate & who wrote what is considered to be the first algorithm for a computer: 100 years before they existed!💻 #WomenInScience
