#diadelosmuertos

On #DiaDeLosMuertos the UFW celebrates the life of cofounder Dolores Huerta. She was a tireless advocate for farm workers, women, immigrants, the LGBTQ+ community and all marginalized people and will be missed by all. 1/

"Silverio" has worked in the fields of CAs Central Coast for 25 yrs. "When the strawberry season ends, I begin working in the marigolds for #DiaDeLosMuertos. I work 2 jobs to get by because the cost of living here is very high. This basically just covers my rent." #WeFeedYou

On #DiaDeLosMuertos the UFW wants to honor the martyrs of La Causa who gave us the most precious gift they possess - their very lives. Nan, Nagi, Juan, Rufino, & Rene are very special human beings. We will never let the sacrifice they have made for us be forgotten.
