  This morning I am departing on another bike&train trip through Northern Europe. I will let my followers discover where I go, but this will include three Scandinavian countries and also about three weeks of pure cycling (except for a few ferries).   Sorry, here is a specific #trainbubble question: I am trying to have my bike on trains between Hamburg and Hirtshals on Sep 12. Being on the ECE 398 (Hamburg-Copenhagen) up to Kolding would be great, but... 1) DB first offers to reserve Hamburg-Kolding (or else Hamburg-Copenhagen) and then says "Reservierung nicht möglich" 2) DSB does not allow to book or reserve anything earlier than 2 months before departure 3) If I try DB, but only Hamburg-Padborg, it says "Stellplätze ausgeb...

  Good morning! Leaving for another half-work/half-leisure, half-train/half-bicycle trip this morning, to Switzerland and it's neighbors. Luckily the worst of the massive heatwave seems to be over.
