@KittenKoder Decentralized Social Media should ensure basic data protection while at the same time allowing various ways of using it according to one’s specific preferences. If I choose to show my face when sharing antifascist content, for example, it’s my decision. I could also decide to stop doing it in the future. But atm I stick to it. There is no way of 100% excluding peer pressure from the Fediverse. And we have to accept that people have different strategies and needs.

If you feel like more people should know that it’s a very bad idea to share one’s home address, feel free to share a video/post explaining why. My content isn’t a business, but I don’t condemn people who refuse to do unpaid content labour. People use social media differently. This includes strategies like not showing one’s face, or being aggressive towards others e.g. The latter makes m...

I just deleted my #warmshowers account after having taken a look into their new Privacy Policy. Can anyone recommend a non-commercial accommodation website that protects data and enables encrypted communication?

Hello dear Fedinauts, I‘m currently #cycling to #Barcelona and I am searching for people who could host me for 2 or 3 nights. Please let me know in case you have a place left or know people who know people 🌈🫶🏼 (I‘ll probably arrive on July 30 or 31)

RE: https://loops.video/v/eACW2DQVI4 @dansup Why does the video upload quality vary so much? The last 25 videos I uploaded were all very high-def ✨ But suddenly they no longer (I uploaded all of them via the iOS app). Is this due to lack of storage at the loops.video server?

RE: https://loops.video/v/eS2PU4BnO3 @dansup Hi Daniel, sorry to bother you again, but the problem of the loops iOS app sometimes rendering the video quality too low is still existent. Did you and your fellow developers already look into it? Greetings from Germany!

Can someone recommend a #foss #survey service which allows users to upload pictures? #CryptPad isn't an option since it doesn't allow uploads. I didn't find any information on #limesurvey, #framaforms, #liberaforms, or #limesurvey
