  now that I’ve fixed that bug I’ve been tweaking the image processing for my e-ink badge; it’s subjective, but moving from (Atkinson) dithering in RGB space to OKLAB seems to do a much better job of taking advantage of the limited (7-colour!) palette and preserving contrast and saturation 💜
