Hey, I have a question for fellow UK writers (especially if you've got a bad back, but I'm interested regardless): do you have a favorite supportive chair? The setup at our new house means that I need a new chair for my writing desk, and my bad back needs it to be genuinely comfortable. (Honestly, I'd be interested in hearing from writers in other countries, too, it would just be less relevant to my own personal shopping options!) #WritingLife

Oof, so...our family is now on its seventh (!!!!) round of covid, and my daughter is really sick with the highest fever and most agonizing sore throat she's ever had. IOW, it's going around again, and it's really worth taking precautions, everyone. ❤

After years of loyalty to Ben & Jerrys Chocolate Fudge Brownie, I'm taking a break (due to what a pain it is to scoop, despite its deliciousness). So, I ordered 2 new-to-me kinds of chocolate ice cream today, tried 1 scoop of each... ...& whoops. They're both delicious! It's the best kind of tie. 😘 f you're in the UK and you have a different favorite chocolate ice cream to recommend, please let me know! Long may the experiments continue. :) #chocolate #eating

A question for any 19th century English lit scholars (please do boost!): when were Lord Byron's letters to his wife first published? I haven't been able to find a specific date for those yet. (I'm assuming it must have been after her death in 1860, but I could be wrong even about that vague assumption...) #EnglishLit #english
