  I bought a few Shelly plug s and integration with homeassistant is compared to some other devices quite easy and done in just a few minutes. Plug it in, detected almost immediately by HA, add it to my iot wifi, go to ha settings, start update. I want them to remember the last state, which cannot be done within HA, but it's also done quickly via the web ui. Nice. #shelly #plug #homeassistant

  thread support in android is a mess.. :( I had configured my nanoleaf as thread router. I removed it and have my homeassistant set up as thread router and removed it from nanoleaf. My phone ne knows both now, but there seems to be no way to just remove that old (preferred) one and it insists to talk with that non existent when adding thread only matter devices. *sigh* #android #thread #homeassistant #matter

  I need some smartification for dumb ferraris meter. I do not have power supply there, not always access, meter is behind a pane of glass and wifi... Is if at all bad. IR reading seems to be the easiest one and probably power efficient running on batteries. But if they drain I miss readings and need to fix them after restoring power. It seems not very reliable more like guessing. Camera needs probably more power, but it reads the actual meter values. #ferraris #meter #homeassistant

  ✅ Das erste Mal mit wero statt PayPal/Visa bezahlt. (Domain beim INWX, die leider kein Lastschriftverfahren für privat machen.. 🤔 das war so selbstverständlich für mich, das ich das beim Umzug nicht gecheckt habe..) Bis jetzt war wero nur eine ungenutzte Option im Banking. #wero #paypal #visa

  Communication is difficult. I asked politely our vacation hosts, if they could pick us up at the railway station, but we should be able to use the bus if not. "Sure thing! But we only have a small car!" This implies for me, that we might have limited space. I replied, that we are 4 persons and amount of our luggage and if that does not fit, we take the bus. "Well our car is not THAT small! But sure, take the bus" Sounds a bit offended for me. I don't know. #autism #comm...
