Inspired by projects like Zig and SDL I added a no LLM/AI policy to my most active open source project. For now just in the README and a reminder when opening a new PR. No "agents" file because frankly I don't want to see it. https://github.com/schellingb/dosbox-pure/commit/0eca09b

@ludd Every time he's taking a shit and taps some garbage into twitter it's just incomprehensibly stupid nonsense. He really needs to stop (but he won't like we've seen with other billionaires addicted to getting validated by idiots).

@nothings Hey there, to fix VC6 debugging issues on Windows 7 and newer I use the fixed TLLOC.DLL from Dr.Hoiby from here https://stackoverflow.com/a/3826382 Thanks for streaming and for everything else you do! And for telling everyone that using old software is perfectly fine :-)

@ludd At least someone is using all those Kinect sensors out there :-) Though I actually quite like teamlab, lots of colorful lights in dark environments, what's not to like? Science museums are great, too!

@ludd I dunno... one can be in a mood to see either I think. Do you also hate outside illumination displays very common in fall and winter all around Japan? Lights are cool, man! It's like a theme park, not everything has to be super intellectual, it can just be visually stimulating.

@ludd These days I wonder if I'm at my last job in tech, too. And I can't imagine where I would even be if my current job didn't allow me to work independently and remotely on a small project. Working together with sloppers seems hell.

I learned today that in C when opening a file for updating (i.e. fopen with mode "rb+") one needs to call fseek first when switching between reading and writing to force reset internal buffers. Even just seeking to a 0 offset from the current position works. Otherwise things can randomly break depending on the platform, the size of the existing file, or the amount of data being read/written. Baffling that a debug build wouldn't warn about this.
