    YESS! I did it. Managed to install #NetBSD to the BeagleBone Black&#39;s EMMC, AND downgrade u-boot to the 2018 version as the 2022 version has something broken with USB apparently. (Yet to test if I can get it to work now). Anyway the process is actually FAR simpler on #NetBSD than what many tutorials suggest. No need to dd at specific offsets by hand. Get a Live SD card image for NetBSD from https://armbsd.org and image it to card Boot said live image by holding down the S2 button next to...

    I can&amp;#39;t seem to get #NetBSD 11 booting on the #BeagleBoneBlack from EMMC. I downloaded the https://armbsd.org image, wrote to SD, booted from SD, ran sysinst... But on reboot I just get &amp;#34;CCCCCCCC&amp;#34; meaning there&amp;#39;s no bootloader. Boot from SD works but of course that only gets me back in the live installer. What do I do?

    Streaming Hungarian Folk Tales from my #OpenBSD machine at home to my #9front laptop over #yggdrasil. This trashheap of a thinkpad shouldn&#39;t even be able to use this WiFi card, let alone do any of this. ๐Ÿ˜ Because there is no official yggdrasil port for plan9 either... ๐Ÿคฃ

    &quot;Builds&quot; and &quot;works&quot; are two very different things; and especially under #Plan9. Built yggdrasil-go with the outstanding PR that adds #9front support. It builds, it connects to the #yggdrasil network -- but you can&#39;t do anything over it by default; cannot ping or connect to any peers. Not much use that way. Does it pass all checks and tests on build? Yes. Does the compiler complain? No. Does it run? Yes. Does it work? No.
