    More Round-leaved Sundews, Drosera rotundifolia. Studies have shown that extracts of this plant have strong anti-inflammatory properties. This and other species of temperate carnivorous plants stop growing during the winter and enter a period of dormancy until the following spring, when they resume growth. #carnivorousplants #biodiversity #biology #nature #plants #botany #SavageGarden

    Yet another fritillary on the Butterfly Weed, along with a friendly bumblebee. We&#39;ve been getting exclusively Great Spangled Fritillaries, large #butterflies with silver spots on the underside of the hindwings.
