Distro hopped 4 times in the last 12 hours. Can’t find one that I want to daily drive on my new laptop. Tried OpenSuse, but just had too many weird issues. Now I’m installing Fedora Kinoite since I know I want plasma and I also want an immutable OS.

@sirber I won’t use anything that isn’t wayland at this point. It just works better on my touchscreen devices. Which is all of them at this point, except my servers obviously.

Tried installing windows on my laptop last night and had a horrible experience. The external display I use via a dell dock had static all over it. Issue doesn’t exist in Linux on the same hardware. No fix was available for windows online.

@sirber I’ve been trying to get KDE working with my dock / external 21:9 display on wayland but it just refuses to actually output any picture. So I’m reinstalling Fedora Silverblue since I know that works.
