Don't be me and add "autocomplete" attribute to your #HTML username/password fields on the Signup/Login/Reset Password forms. * "new-password" for Sign up * "current-password" for Login * "username" for username/email More info here: https://www.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/form-styles-that-chromium-understands/ #beBetter #accessibility

What a busy end of 2022! We are finishing up with a bang adding a new feature to Pixboost #Image #CDN! πHappy to announce that now our new and existing users can signup or login with their #Google accounts. I thought I would also share things to consider when implementing. Turned out itβs not just adding the button π βDo you allow existing users to login with Google? π We do, but on the first login we delete the password and only allow to use Google Auth. This way we narrow down the blast ra...

This is getting more and more complicated. Can #webperf community help me? What is the best way to figure out a slow network? Some time ago it was Save-Data header and now we got ECT and Downlink network hints. Save-Data seems not getting rather popular looking at Web Almanac. Using the other two with CDN (cache key) would be a "fun" exercise and needs a server side opt-in. The problem I'd like to solve is to serve lower-quality images to users with slow networks...

"He wished he could talk to these people in person, instead of over spanreed" (c) Oathbringer: The Stormlight Archive Book Three by Brandon Sanderson. I feel so much like this often sending slack messages. How do you show your emotions remotely that people can see from your facial expressions?

And here are the slides from my talk about fuzz #testing in #golang. TLDR: I think it could be one more stone for closing the gap between #developers and #security https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1FHxqf0YcNXUao39I9D-R0XukMqiE6E3fUzF1sw3F3CA/edit?usp=sharing

Here it begins! #JpegXL support is coming to Pixboost #imagecdn π₯π₯π₯ Adding support and off to testing! P.S. It's been a journey to find the application to test in Linux. Using @palemoonbrowser, then will have to steal my wife's MacBook :) #webperformance https://github.com/Pixboost/transformimgs/compare/feature/jxl?expand=1

#golang is awesome! Just used "x/time/rate" package to build a simple middleware to rate limit HTTP requests. It was such a delight! So simple and easy to use, yet so powerful! I learned so much about writing code by just using those art pieces! #dev https://pkg.go.dev/golang.org/x/time/rate
