I am still debating between hot-reloading a whole file or providing a Shell for interactive language systems. The file allows editing within any text editor (for my Emacsers) but might feel stranger than REPL shells à la Bash or Utop. And I could still export a clean instruction files from the current Shell state, so idk

I fucking love lulu and print-on-demand stuff, it's so cool. kill the middlemen.

More on Lulu, in general, we could have better at-home printing systems and prints our own zines/small books (no more than 300 pages I guess?). Then we can just share our stuff as PDF on-line etc

The reason why every technological innovation ends up having to solve the same problems over and over is because technology adoption is a social system and, because we are lazy, we cause the same problems on everything we adopt, which have to be solved from the technological side instead of fixing the society. #accelerate

@deborahh wait, wasn't it Spotify that made AI-generated music to mix in playlist and increase time spent on the platform by forcing users to listen to AI crap or skip and get an ad? They purposely artificially increased the supplies with AI shit to reduce the price they have to pay artists and labels.

I'm getting a bit nostalgic for the old and atrocious way of coding C/C++ code working on all major platforms, the C++-compatible and Obj-C-compatible C code that was in a file full of #ifdef etc...

@deborahh I guess labels will scare them for a few months with the lawsuits, but they'll continue one way or another... I'm so tired

I think we should consider trees and acyclic graphs as separate objects. While we can represent trees as acyclic graphs, they are two distinct abstractions. In the same way we can represent graphs with matrix/lists yet we separate the two since they are different abstraction layers.

I keep going back to Prof. Dijkstra notes over and over again, there's something hidden in there. I don't know what it is, but it's all about this notion that software should not have to be maintained. It is so much real and s much wrong at the same time. I just can't imagine it.
